The church scene in Kingsman. Hands down. Actually, tied with John Wick 2 museum scene. Honorable mentions: ending of Wanted, Matrix “enter secure building” scene
The final shoot out in L.A Confidential.
Feels more gritty and real than slick movies like John Wick (which I like but makes me laugh more than anything).
L.A Confidential portrays violence really well and Russell Crowe is excellent at making it look brutal.
Looks like Heat has the most votes so far, and you can add my vote to that as well. Heat has the most badass shootout in movie history. A close second, Saving Private Ryan beach landing scene. Not sure if that counts though.
Wind River! When the local PD has a shootout with the guards. You want a shoot out that’ll give you chills? Wind River! It happens quickly but god damn is it powerful and terrifying. Wind River!
This is silly but I actually like the shootout scenes in The Quick and the Dead with Sharon Stone, Gene Hackman and Russell Crowe. Baby Leonardo DiCaprio is in the movie too. I like Russell Crowe’s gunslinging flair too when he’s picking out a gun at Leo’s shop. It wasn’t a great movie at all but I wouldn’t flip channel if it came on screen while channel-surfing.

End scene of reservoir dogs for the win.
Not the best maybe but one of the most entertaining is the stairwell scene in “shoot ‘em up”
heat, obviously.
Desperado has several epic shootout scenes.
True Detective mobile home park shootout season 1

I recently watched, again, Django Unchained. The final shootout in the manor was epic.
