[OC] A 15 liter bottle of wine that was delivered to my job. 750ml next to it for comparison

Let’s go swimming
Now all that is need is a glass big enough to match it.
That would be hard to pour. It needs a spigot.
Ah yes I’ve seen those. Very silly. For show, really.
Oh, I see my sister’s weekend order came in.
Proper

That is a useless gimmick, it might as well be filled with Ribena.
That’d last a whole weekend!
Just in case you didn’t know, that is referred to as a Nebuchadnezzar.
A magnum bottle is pretty common.
This is larger. Probably a rare batch. Large format bottles are much better for aging wine than small bottles.
Some are just gimmicks, most are not.
How many people does it take to serve?
I had the misfortune of having to carry a pair of Methuselah (6 litre) bottles some years ago.
Huge wine bottling is pure dick waving.
Is this stuff ever used or is it just to have sitting on a shelf looking cool?
r/absoluteunit
isn’t that called a Nebuchadnezzar (15L)
Where do you work, a liquor distributor? I wish I got those at my place of business!
Chateau de Walmart
Like a 40 pound bottle?
Don’t talk to me or my son ever again
I picked a bunch of these bottles up at a recycling bin from a restaurant / caterer. Since I was making wine, I figured I’d ‘go big’ … 54L a time, or the 30gallon bucket, meant a lot of bottles was needed.
Still have 2 of them left, but wow- talk about being the life of the party when you walk in with a ‘homemade chardonnay’ that the ladies labeled ‘LPR’ (Liquid Panty Remover).
I miss making wine, but with jobs and kids… so much harder to do so.
The normal bottle is actually a tasty Carmenere (originally a French grape but mostly Chilean after the it pretty much disappeared in France). Also a very approachable price for about $10 usd.
Pey-r-assol? Can’t I just put the money in her hand?
where banana?
What seems to be the officer problem?
Why did that happen
I once sold a 6L bottle of rosé to a dude that took it and a normal size corkscrew to this big family picnic he had planned…. he was mildly annoyed that I didn’t tell him about the size of cork 😂
Just need the Canyonero fridge to chill it.
It’s like the Mad Dog of French wine
Need a banana for scale.
So dumb , as if they didn’t put a tap in the bottom of the bottle , there is literally no to pour that
