My father showed me classic 5 card poker when I was a kid (barely played so never learned when you should change cards etc) and I learned texas holdem in school, during year 11 and 12 my class organised poker matches, people from other classes would come play as well. We used to use cents instead of chips, but started taking deposits and use book keeping after due to the illegality the school teacher confiscated the pots a few times. Good times.
Loved that game. Got better when I realized you could cheat. If you start with a really bad hand, just exit the minigame and you’ll get a new one when you come back in.
