A target near me painted those to look like soccer balls once and some kid broke his foot kicking them. Parents sued and actually won, what is this world coming to
If you would like to obtain one of these Ballard covers [This article from NintendoLife](https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2022/03/random-everyone-wants-to-steal-targets-new-kirby-balls) explains that there are instructions for the installers that the covers should be removed and discarded on April 10th. Neither the article, nor I condone stealing. Perhaps a bribe would be offered on disposal day?
They did this for the release of Mario Kart 8 for the Switch as well. Mario and Luigi heads and a few shopping carts got converted into carts from the game.
We don’t have Target in Canada. They came here a few years ago, but that didn’t last long because people stupidly assumed the prices would be as good as in America and boycotted the stores, causing the Canadian franchise to go under almost as soon as they arrived.
I was going to say this looks ALOOOT like the target near me. but it is not. because the target near me has tar / blacktop out front, not those cement squares.
What exactly is the point of target having the red balls in front of their stores again? I genuinely don’t understand lol. It’s not like, marketing.. you have to already be in the parking lot to see them
I’m extremely intrigued by why this Kirby game has so much hype when the previous ones have been more low profile releases lol. I mean they always sell well and review well, but they never seem to generate this sort of hype and excitement. What’s different about this one?
Fun story, one summer in Minnesota a bunch of Targets painted these to look like beach balls and several people broke their feet trying to kick them. So they had to paint them back.
Those big, red balls in front of many Target stores are called bollards, and they are there for customers’ safety. By placing the two-ton concrete balls at the storefront, it makes it harder for cars to drive onto the curb and through the doors — looking nice is just an added bonus
My Maryland Target stores BETTER have those Kirbys front and center of their stores this weekend.
Your target looks better than mine…
Wait till you see what they did with Spot the Dog.
Kirby sure went mouthful mode on your Targets balls
Awwww that’s adorable
Omg I love this hahahahahaa

Looks like the Warwick, RI store.
This is why Target will always be better than Walmart.
They did this when the switch launched and they were all little spherical mario characters.
Some child is going to think it’s a squishmallow and faceplant into those and destroy their face lol
Gotta be really careful driving by this Target
Target took full advantage of the advertising materials Nintendo sent over!
You don’t wanna idle in front of this Target
Our boi is hungry for cars
*Nintendo’s marketing department took full advantage of this opportunity.
Those bollards suck!
I saw those in front of ours too. Makes me think this is an ad.
what opportunity?
Seen Targets with Pokemon and Nintendo’s Mario art on those balls too.
dont stand in front of an open kirby
Pretty sure almost every Target did this
Well if your car hits it, at least you can tell the cop Kirby was trying to suck you in…
What’s the purpose of the balls? I looks like a car could easily go in between them.

Poyo
Looks like downtown SLC Target
Just got back from Target, it’s adorable.

OP, is this in Wisconsin? If not, it must be a global thing Target is doing.
I took this back in 2018. Guess this is a thing Nintendo and Target do: https://postimg.cc/BjGh7YmB
Nintendo suing in 3…2…1
San Pedro?
