I LOVED Control. I never played Alan Wake, and wanted more of that world, so I got Alan Wake remastered. Gotta say… going from Control to Alan Wake is ROUGH in the combat department. I love the story, but man…. kinda a slog with these repetitive fights.
The guy who just recently ghosted me mentioned loving this game. We were talking about games and my name is Allan, which made him think of it. I’d never heard of it. Now I see it here. Maybe I’ll try it.
You may also like “Alan Wake’s American Nightmare”, which I think is really underrated. Also check out other games made by Remedy. They have a lot of similarities. Even older Max Payne games have a similar way of storytelling.
I just found out control is set in the same universe. The dlcs, you actually meet him.
Yeah, I was going to say play Control – same amazing writing and atmosphere, better pacing and gameplay. (Not dissing, Alan Wake: I love that game.)
A great game (:
One of my favourite games of all time

I loved the music in it as well, you know that one level? Of course you do, what a great level.
