Carmella’s reaction to Tony pushing her against the wall was so realistic. I remember the first time I watched it and realised that the whole time I’d been watching the show I’d been so focused on James’s acting that I didn’t realise just how good Edie was. Tbh I think if Edie wasn’t such a good actor a lot of James’s performances wouldn’t have had the same impact, for example this one.
They cast Edie Falco as Hillary Clinton in American Crime Story: Impeachment. [There’s a scene where Hillary confronts Bill over his infidelity with Monica Lewinsky](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56EOr6dMtP0&ab_channel=BBC) and I swear they used this scene from Soprano’s as inspiration. Both episodes also even feature a seaside cottage as the setting.
Greatest show ever. Something like it will most likely never be made again. This will be *the* show that future generations watch to learn about the 9/11 era.
The writing on this show was unbelievable. No TV tropes, just two broken people trying to work shit out, bouncing around from topic to topic to try to get jabs at each other.
My favorite scene with Carmella is when she visits the therapist near the end of the series. She goes in expecting some kind of forgiveness or blessing for the life she lives, and he absolutely smacks her down.
So happy to see this. I am finally getting the wife to go through the whole show. We are on the first part of the last season. Such a good show. Not sure how she will like the ending but we’ll cross that bridge when we get there.
I love that when she’s talking about how miserable she is and how his actions affect he just stone walls her, but when she talks about being in love with someone else he finally cracks and loses it.
He doesn’t give a shit about hurting her, but when his “masculinity” is put into question and he feels like his dominance is being threatened, that’s when he reacts

Nurse Jackie was a great show if want to see more of her
The title of the video says that this scene is their second-best fight scene. What was their best, I wonder?
I don’t really go for crime shows (I’m more of a scifi guy), but holy shit did *The Sopranos* draw me in like a motherfucker.
This one is the best Edie Falco, IMO. Tom Aldredge is also a great actor as well in this series.

I’m in the middle of a rewatch and just watched this. Well-earned Emmy awards all around.

Two Goats
You used to get me so hot down there.
Only now just realised that he yells Poor you, like his mother used to

It always cracked me up how this family brought up stuff from ancient history to use as barbs against each other.
This reminds me of my favorite Sopranos podcast Pod Yourself A Gun. I am in no way affiliated with this podcast.

The fact that you would even say this in front of an outsider is amazing to me! Jesus Christ, some loyalty?

Edie was so good in Nurse Jackie
Do people get out of pool water and just dry off without a shower first?
Did I just watch a GTA 5 cutscene?
It’s been a few years time for another rewatch.
