They keep the budgets low enough to make money. They are going to keep making them until that changes. It will be interesting to see how movies without John Kramer do when Tobin Bell retires.
The last one was the first one to really exploit Tobin Bell’s potential as an actor beyond just having him do a spooky voice. I bet they now wish they’d done more of that when he was not quite so old.
The Saw Franchise is so bizarre… Started out with two decent horror movies, then the next six had a Hallmark movie budget, now it looks like they’re taking the franchise seriously again
I can see this being the fallout from the last movie (that bitch Cecilia is alive, plus the hanging thread of her father supposedly still being out there), and I would love to see John, Amanda, and Hoffman being a trio this time around (would also love to see something between John and Dr. Gordon, away from Amanda and Hoffman).
Very strange to announce the release date as Roman Numerals when that’s the format for numbering sequels. At first I thought they were making some weird trilogy consisting of Saw 9, Saw 27 and Saw 2024
Best thing to do is to write a “choose your adventure” script and have Tobin Bell record and act out every single possible answer so that they can use him for the next ten movies that wraps itself into a pretzel.
wtf this is so random. Especially after James wan yesterday saying how he wanted to return to horror, but I thought it was also implied this series was done and something fresh is on the way. Man Hollywood blows
The only thing that bothers me about the Saw franchise is his “protégé ” is hardly deserving. Why? Because she had to escape the jaws of death BUT she doesn’t have to physically harm herself to do it. Unlike all of his other victims. I think the detective who sawed through his own leg is more deserving.
It’s out September 27, 2024 – [Source](https://www.instagram.com/p/C0u2ob_vhEH/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==)
So where do we think it takes place, between 2 & 3?
X was a real return to form, hopefully this one can keep it up.
A new Saw and a new Terrifier movie a month apart. Next Halloween is going to rock
Saw’s gonna have more sequels than The Land Before Time at this rate.
Roman Numerals: The Motion Picture

BUT WHEN IN THE TIMELINE WILL IT TAKE PLACE?

We are so back, baby
I was not expecting the Saw franchise to outlast the Scream franchise lol
I love the Saw franchise in general, well every film except Spiral, and Saw X was awesome, so bring it on.

Hopefully XI is just as good as X because they really knocked it out of the park with that one.
I hope Kevin Greutert directs again.
First Saw went for the Fresh RT score now onto the real prize…The Academy Awards #SawSweep

I hate that franchises do this. That being said, I’m 100% for this. More.
Fuck, they work quick.
The creator of the Now CDs got bored and wanted to start with movies too. I’d go see it, but I think I’m going to wait for Saw 69.
The newest movie was definitely one of the better ones in the franchise, so I have high hopes for the sequel
So I’m assuming the person that survived at the end of 10 is also going to have “been in on it all along” somehow 🙃

2024
The game continues.
Hoping they decide to be clever and call it “Saw : No eXIt”
Somewhere out there a Meat Canyon screams.
X was great – I’ll watch a dozen more of these if they’re at that quality.
Man I still need to see X

They should just go nuts with this franchise
Saw: Ancient Rome, Saw: Mediaeval , Saw: Civil War, Saw: Galactic, Saw: Prehistoric
Tobin Bell is in all of them.
Best thing to do is to write a “choose your adventure” script and have Tobin Bell record and act out every single possible answer so that they can use him for the next ten movies that wraps itself into a pretzel.
I hope this is a prequel that takes place in Roman times
Pretty crazy how it’s been 13 years since *Saw: The Final Chapter* and they still keep churning out these movies.
We’re doing yearly Saw releases again we are so back
Can I watch saw X if I only watch 1-3? I’ve seen them but it’s been so long

Meh, I’d rather have Saw sequels than F&F sequels.
That’s epic good luck
