Anyone have any experience with Season 3? Amazing how strong season 1 was but goddamn, what a drop with 2.
I hope this season is good.
I’m so ready for this! I know it won’t be like the first season but I’m still curious to see how it will go. Should be an interesting winter watch, especially when Jodie Foster is starring.
As a season 2 defender I really hope the ending is closer to that season than to 3 because that was such a let down. Im curious how they are gonna tie in the s1 stuff with this and Im hoping its not just thrown in there to appease the s1 hardcore fans.
Edit: they better try to top this line or else – “In the midst of being gangbanged by forces unseen, I figure I’d drill a new orifice, go on and fuck myself for a change.”
I’m going to start this series from season 1 and I wonder does it have a supernatural element or is that just implied in this trailer.
I prefer to watch the first season again at the same time as the new season is released
Glad this show is coming back! Rooting for my cousin Kali. I’m very excited for her.
This trailer is giving me strong Wind River vibes, which is a good thing because that movie is **badass.**
I will be looking forward to this one.
Guess it’s time to start a re-watch to prepare 🙂
It looks pretty great, but I still can’t help but feel that everything about this, when combined with the fact that Pizzolatto isn’t involved, seems like it was a show called Night Country that had the True Detective angle grafted onto it just before they went into production.
So Issa López is the writer for the whole season and Nic just serves as an EP, yeah this is a pass for me.

Season 1 was amazing in part because you didn’t know anything about this insane group of cultists until halfway through, and it was super creepy.
This just opens with it, so goodbye suspense. In season 1, you couldn’t BELIEVE what was there when they kept digging, it was terrifying. In this they start out telling you it’s scary at the bottom, so they’ll have to find something to out-creep season 1. This looks tragically uninspired, and that is pretty unfortunate. I was excited for this until the trailer.
