Damn, I feel old now. I remember seeing those weird ass adverts for it like it was only a few years ago. My anticipation for the Dreamcast was through the roof, it truly felt next gen to me.
9/9/99 what a great day. My parents got me a pre-order and it meant the world to me, we couldn’t pick it up until 9/10/99 due to their schedule but still what a lucky bastard I was.
I remember playing Soul Calibur at a friend’s house back when it came out, and was so blown away by it that I went out and bought one myself a week later.
Send me back go the 90s please, the last few seasons have become increasingly shitty and a lot of the main characters or plot points don’t make any sense/feel repetitive all while upcoming the subscription cost.
man, i miss these days. probably because i still had hope and I was a kid, but back then, games just felt way more special. you could buy a game and enjoy it for months
I too, did this. 9/9/99. Electronics boutique at Stratford Square mall in Bloomingdale, IL. Got NFL2K and at the time the graphics were straight up MIND BLOWING
Those were the days. I spot a Lunar SSSC in the background too!
Am assuming she’s still ~~hot~~ a gamer.
I got PS, but was jelly af when my friend could burn games for his Dreamcast.
Homeboy posing with a disc ruining kit like wtf am I doing with my life.
Look at them being all happy.
Still have my Dreamcast! Still one of my favorite consoles!
She about to open her heart
The real name of that article is “*Gamers see a woman for the first time*”.
Wonder where they all are now?
I don’t know why but I thought the guy in the middle was a young Eli Manning.
I got crazy taxi with mine.

Wish Sega could’ve made it. They truly made exciting consoles.
And the game store dude trying to push the DVD cleaner on her…
From FuncoLand, no less.
My kind of woman, though I was 9 lmao.

Man, the Dreamcast was so underrated. Had some hidden gems. I’ll die on the hill that Power Stone was better than Smash.
Peak of human civilization. all downhill from there.
I remember when I bought mine. I was 17 and it was amazing. Biggest smile ever driving home with that. I got phantasy star online with it.
who’s mom is this
