This was excellent. One trope missing is ‘the makeover’ trope where poor ugly duckling farm girl gets glammed up by a bunch of ‘in’ girls.

Never seen Divergent (I guess that’s what this video was based on), but the whole “I have to pick between two guys” thing seems to be a common trope. Twilight and Hunger Games did it too.

This would have been more humorous if she had played it more straight. I’m all for having fun with tropes but the snarky laughter and asides give a nasty, mocking veneer to what could have been a good natured ribbing.
