It’s interesting to watch in 2023 and realize this wouldn’t fly now. People would freak out about the chocolate bear lyric and how the jokes are based on them being close but not gay.
It’s a good TV series and, as a movie watcher, it’s the only TV series I enjoy watching even though it has doctors in it. Among my top 5 TV series. Amazon Prime is re-releasing old legends. I think Scrubs should be added to the list
LOL, one of my favorite scenes was when Turkleton tells Carla that he loves her as much as he loves JD. She actually thought that was the most romantic thing.
Edit: I was mistaken. It was JD telling Eliot he loves her than Turkleton.
Joking aside… We kind of have this view in society that romantic love is the ultimate form of partnership and intimate love you can experience. The person you share your life with is a romantic partner…
But I honestly don’t think everyone fits into that box. Intimacy and romance aren’t always tied together. You can have deeply intimate platonic or familial relationships too.
It’s just too bad “marrying” your friend isn’t like… A thing. Not marry like you wanna have sex and start a family together. But like… This is the person you feel closest to and love and trust the most. And the person you want to spend all of your time with. But the feelings are simply platonic instead of romantic. Agape love instead of Eros.
i got really obsessed with this episode when it came out. I bought it on the apple store for me Ipod and i watched it over and over till i could recite the whole episode. All the songs and all the dialog in between.
Just a reminder: this scene happened because the patient has a syndrome where everything she hears somehow turns into a musical (not sure what it’s called, watch the episode). But after the episode was done, they kept this song because of how funny it was, and it makes a return at the start of season 6(?).
They actually started doing a podcast fairly recently called Fake Doctors, Real Friends with Zach and Donald and there are times it genuinely feels like listening to an episode of scrubs
Can someone with some music theory knowledge please tell me why this has the sound of the [El Dorado soundtrack](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=joOYYF8zTe0)… and basically a lot of Elton John stuff and tons of stuff from early 2000’s
EAGLE!
They’re just annoying shills now. Go away.
Why are there pancakes in the silverware drawer?
More like why is there silverware in the pancake drawer? WUZZAP
I friggin love scrubs
Definitely tied for best show ever.

Scrubs is the #1 sitcom ever.
Hey, it’s a T mobile commercial
No OP, it’s guy love.
Scrubs will always get my upvote. Guyluv4life
Props to that woman in the hospital bed for keeping a straight face.
Didn’t this episode end sadly?
My ringtone, for years, for my best bud.

Fine, I’ll rewatch Scrubs for the millionth time
Turk Turkleton!
Best couple in TV history.
I knew what this was from the opening frame. My buddy and I sang this at a Talent Show…
At a church…
We were asked to leave.
I just watched a Big Think video about the friendship deficit and this video made me sad for all the people who don’t have a close friend.

I was obsessed with this episode. Hate “musical” episodes of shows generally, but every song in this one is too good
God I miss Scrubs. And Supernatural. And My Wife and Kids, too.
Those where a few of the last few shows I actually watched before television became completely obsolete for me.
Maybe my favorite episode of any show ever.
“But in a totally manly way” is tied for funniest thing to happen on this show. Always cracks me up.
Normalize this world; we’ll all benefit from it
This was such a great episode! Dr. Cox channeling his inner Gilbert and Sullivan with his song was a lot of fun.
legit a good song
This has been my ringtone for my bestfriend for years, and he has no idea 😂.
I love Scrubs, I need to rewatch soon
Bro I miss my friends so much 🙁
I got to chat w/ Donald Faison at a bar in Hollywood for a few minutes. Really great guy. Would recommend.
Everything comes down to poo!
Ugh love this show.
Every character was great in my opinion.
This bromance is everything…. Of course they are in reality as well!!
Now do Cox Kelso Bob and Jan Itor!

Freaking love scrubs
That’s not bromance, it’s just guy love.
Best sitcom
The first 4 seasons are the best
I felt turk in that moment JD began to sing.
“Really? Now? Your gona do this now?”
Legit didnt know the tmobile commercial was related to anything

A surgeon and a Doc, Abooove it All.

Dunno the series but I love music
“No hands ”
Should have said afterwards “bromance”

Is it some specific use of notes or something?
this always makes me smile
Love this show!
