Classic!!!
I remember when this first aired. It was the funniest thing on television.

Interesting bit of trivia: the actor here prepared for his turkey play by play by listening to recordings of the hindenburg disaster
” With God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly!”
I can see my mom crying with laughter trying to describe this scene to me. Thanks for that memory
This is hugely funny
I was laughing so hard, I couldn’t breath. Seriously.

Great show. Feels like only yesterday when this aired.
Truly a classic. I watch this every Thanksgiving.
Classic !!
One of my favorite TV shows of all time. The episode “In Concert”, which was about the Who concert tragedy that occurred on Decmeber 3, 1979 at Cincinnati’s Riverfront Coliseum, is still as good today as it was what was when it aired on February 11, 1980.
They had perfect timing expression from “its not a person, its only turkey’s”. Too…”its turkey’s plummeting to their death”.
This will be funny forever.
Also the funniest
This is one of my favourite episodes
LES NESSMAN! NEWS BEACON OF THE OHIO VALLEY!
This was the 7th episode of the 1st season. The writing was on point from the beginning.
Watched it last night. The last line is perfection and well worth the lead up.
This was one of my dad’s favorite shows! He passed 4 months ago. Thank you for posting this! It made me think about the laughs we had when he first showed me! This is Boooooooger!
This was based off a real event from a radio station in Atlanta back in the early 70s
Oh Les Nessman you are so silly
I watched this episode as a kid with my family. We were all on the floor laughing. Great memory.
Lived that sitcom. Johnny Fever was the man…
This show was so under-rated. I thought is was really well written and it captured the ‘vibe’ of American popular culture in the late 1970s.
I was 16, and saw the original broadcast in ’78. Fell on the floor laughing!
