I suppose if this was the first ever video about neutron stars you ever saw it would be more impressive. But it doesn’t really stand out in any way. There are plenty of videos like it that either pack more into a shorter video or have flashier graphics.
If you’re trying to get people excited about space, then I’m not sure you want the bulk of your video to be just a twitchy guy talking into a camera
I just can’t hack listening to this guy and certainly not when it comes to astronomy. There’s far better channels for that.
Half the channels I’ve muted on YouTube have this guy fronting them and he still keeps being suggested to me. One day soon I’ll hopefully have blocked from my life and I can’t wait.
There’s an indian solidstate phycisist who has an absolutely incredible lecture series on the death of stars, including the insights that go into trying to get an equation of state for a neutron star.
