Stick of Truth, I played it, loved it but this censorship was shaving my balls.

That’s actually hilarious. But I will say, your country spared you some serious trauma!
I hated how many times I actually failed before I understood what the prompts wanted me to do.
I did actually find these funnier than what was shown to be honest.
wait…this censured image comes up in game?
Rimworld
rare footage of censorship being funny. and this is coming from someone who despises censorship .
I don’t get it, I thought we were supposed to love and celebrate abortions, and isn’t performing an abortion on a man inclusive in 2023?
Edit: wait are people taking this seriously lmao? Didn’t think a /s was necessary.
I played the American version and I don’t remember the scene being described here at all. I guess that’s good!
Who finds any of that appealing or fun? South Park is insufferable because they’re crude for the sake of crude.
As much as I’m glad that South Park exists, and I admire their ability to evade censorship and create pretty much whatever they want, I don’t think I could ever get into it.
This is just shock for the sake of shock.
IIRC that wasn´t even censorship by the EU but by Ubisoft themselfes. They never tried to release an uncensored version here and just cut this out.
This level is exactly why I have never replayed stick of truth ever
I’m from Ireland and have played through the Stick of Truth and have never seen this. When does it come up?
What’s the issue? I didn’t get it someone explain please
IIRC you play that minigame a second time later on, but in a different context.
Did they censor out the nazi zombie aborted fetuses?
Stunning and brave
Europe really does suck
Not EU’s rules but each country in EU has its own rules about public showings and age ratings. Most of the things “censored” are still viewable in their original form in private just not on broadcast TV or public cinemas.
I just want to say since there seems to be some confusion:
~~1: this only applies to disc copies~~
2: ubi did this themselves, not the ~~EU~~ governments. They weren’t asked to do this in any form
Thought this was meant for the US, after all, we allow abortion…
And i will drag myself outside and give me an asswhooping spank
Oh man, that was so funny when Matt Stone and Trey Parker ironically made a short film with Dennis Prager called “For Goodness Sake”. Prager got trolled so hard.
Interestingly, I’m European and remember that part of the game, this must have not been there on release
Lmao that part was wild. Didn’t realize it was censored in some parts of the world
Why did they censor it?
The Aus version has a crying koala
The australian version had a Koala on it.
Good thing you can patch that out on PC at least.
>The video game, South Park: The Stick of Truth, was initially banned. Due to backlash, however, a censored version was released in Australia along with Israel and Europe, receiving an R18+ rating, much like the other video games based on the series. One scene and one minigame were banned in the Australian release. The banned scene featured a character (the show’s protagonists are depicted as primary school children) surrounded by aliens, being probed with a so-called ‘anal probe’ in the shape of a penis. Additionally, the scene was interactive. The scene was classified as ‘child sexual abuse’ and banned twice. The banned minigame was also interactive and instructed the player to perform abortion on Randy Marsh.
Pretty much sums it up. With consoles now being region free, any games that are censored, you can just go online and buy it from a different region.
Australia, THE most authoritarian police state, censors another media.
More news on 8pm
This was on the console versions, the PC version was censorship free. Although, reading the censored descriptions at times was funnier than playing the actual game. I played the game on PC
