I never really hear much talk about it but this is easily the best martial arts action I’ve ever experienced in a game.

Platinumed it in less than a week but goddamn it was intense. Game really does martial arts amazingly
Love this game! So good
Game deserved a GOTY nom.
Honestly I preferred absolver. Yeah it’s a smaller game but it had a certain feeling around it I’ve not seen anywhere else. Feel like it had a higher skill ceiling too
Can someone photoshop this so the I looks like a T
I heard this was super hard. Is that true? In my 40s and I’m pretty casual in my twilight years.
The Club stage absolutely SLAPS
Is it on GamePass? Could give it a try.
I really like this game but I keep bouncing off it.
Sifu is a masterpiece. An almost perfectly executed game, from the whole design, to the gameplay and art style. The ultimate beat em up and a martial arts movie lover’s dream come true.
Even though I’m a massive Souls fan, Sifu was my GOTY 2022, and it blows my mind that it only got thrown a bone in the fighting game category for the VGA’s that year. Should have been right up there with Elden ring that year.
Absolutely loved this game.
bought it about a week and a half ago. have really been enjoying it.
I’ll never see this game and not picture aang going “Sifu hotman”
It’s one of my favorite games of all time. I got the platinum twice. It’s such a fun experience and the combat is so satisfying. Wish more people played it. I’ve recommended it to so many Youtubers and they have no clue wtf I’m talking about.
I love the combat and challenge in this game, but I really dislike how it does its roguelike elements. I would be absolutely thrilled to see another game like this come out, but with a bit more of a traditional progression setup.
Once this game clicks, it is absolute glorious. A flow state a badass action.
I got so hooked on this when it came out I would just replay the levels over and over and over until I could run them to perfect. Very satisfying combat system.
It’s easily one of the best games. Combat is so smooth and satisfying. All of the references to the classic Kung Fu movies and action movies.
Hopefully, there is a sequel, and it’s more of a Souls-like game where you can travel through a huge map.
People who played absolver and beat it in a day, this game is for you.
I liked both Absolver and Sifu but Imo they both have a steep learning curve and it’s kind of like a fight game were you have to learn a bunch of abilities. I feel like the game needs a fairly serious tutorial stage to start the game. I really like the idea I just feel like when abilities require multiple button press and tracking multiple resource it gets really way more challenging and less fun.
There was a lot of talk about it when it first came out but it didn’t seem to have a lasting effect or conversation about it once the hype had died down.
>this is easily the best martial arts action I’ve ever experienced in a game.
Homie probably hasn’t played Jackie Chan Stuntmaster.
$15.99 on PSN right now, lowest price ever per Deku deals.
Thinking of pulling the trigger. I play too many games so I really love a challenge like souls/xcom/nioh.
Love this game, but it is a massive disappointment hearing the developers are never making another martial arts game. Especially considering this is such a short game. Between the amazing martial arts mechanics, the cool ass death mechanics, and the art style this type of game has a ton of potential if they were to make a full length sequel, but they aren’t doing that.
I thought it said “STFU” 💀
It’s such a difficult game, and I suck at games.
But MAN, the smooth animations, the adrenaline and the feeling that I was playing a martial arts movie made me want to learn to play this as best as I could. It is SO rewarding to be skillfull in this game. The only complaint I have about it is the voice acting, apart from that: amazing.
Sifu’s one of my favorite games of the last few years. It’s really great. If you were a fan of the “freeflow combat” system in the Batman: Arkham games, you’ll probably really like this.
It’s all anyone ever talked about when it came out.
Fun game but having to unlock moves was lame.
Absolutely loved it
Just got it yesterday! So much fun!
The cinematography(not sure if thats the right word) is so awesome. Most of the stages are absolute eye candy and the gameplay is so satisfying.
Best hand to hand melee combat of all time, that isn’t a 2D fighter that is. It’s got the depth and complexity of a fighting game, I waited my entire life for something like Sifu, and it was worth the wait.
It’s up there with Max Payne 3 and Ninja Gaiden 2 when it comes to pure balls to the wall action, they’re infinitely replayable and always fun.
Sifu reminds me of this game for the PS2 back in the day, Jet Li’s Rise to Honor. A 3D linear beat em up, with exceptional martial arts combat for its time.
>I never really hear much talk about it
Because you ignored it while it was popular.
People were raving about this game all over the internet around its launch, but it’s a singleplayer game that’s been out for a while. Of course nobody is talking about it much now.
Soday, I Fucked Up.
