Be nice to people.
This is the third in a series. Did you play the first two metro’s?
If you don’t want a shitty ending imo, try to not kill people.
There are multiple endings,make sure you do side quests and stuff.
There are 4 major maps/sections in the game. Once you past in the next one you can’t go back.
Every single bullet counts.

Be nice to people. Try to help everyone.

This is the opposite of going in blind lmao
Be prepared for every sentence to start with “ARTYOM!”
Play the first two. 2033, then last light.
Explore the map slowly & carefully. Save often, & don’t be too proud to save scum when you’re still learning the lay of the land; it’s one of those games where if you don’t know where you’re going you can end up spending 6 bullets just to be rewarded with a stash of 2 bullets and a dead end.
Sub the game, the Russian VAs have a lot more emotion than the English ones
Press “W” to walk forward and “S” to walk backwards
You need to play 2033 and LL before.
Why there are always “going in blindly” and “any tips” in these titles? Don’t people realize the contradiction?
Play the first 2 games and this will feel infinitely funner also like everyon else is saying be nice
Shotgun for beasts, long gun for men, and vodka at every opportunity
Play slow and methodical. Don’t pretend you’re in a CoD game. Enemies are VERY dangerous and even one that gets the jump on you can kill you in seconds, especially on higher difficulty.
On that note, I’d recommend higher difficulty. So much more immersive and intense.
Play the game…
Stop asking and start playing. And do not play on easy.
The constant lack of ammo and always having “the last bullet” in your mag makes this game awesome!
Does anyone else feel like they’ve played this series and just absolutely can’t remember anything about it? I remember it being a lot of fun and one of the games I actually truly enjoyed but for some reason I can’t remember anything about the story or even most of the gameplay.
Play the first two games if you haven’t. It won’t have the pay off at the ending if you didn’t.

Conservation is key
Do TONS of exploration and I don’t recommend looking at a guide or map that tells you where things are, it is A LOT more fun than way. Also wear headphones, makes it plenty more immersive.
