Can someone please find out what shirt he’s wearing?
“In 1965, he was arrested for selling counterfeit documents and given a 45-year prison sentence and a $75,000 fine, but the sentence was suspended. However, the felony conviction left him ineligible for military service. He had felt obligated to serve in the Vietnam War, and says that he felt incomplete as a young man for not going to Vietnam.”

He certainly was handsome. He could get away with a lot.
Bit of r/titlegore- the conviction was from 1965, for selling fake draft cards.
Wow, I never knew this.
Great actor.
Looks like Matt Dillon crossed with Craig Sheffer here
How does one get a 45 year federal sentence and have it suspended! Asking for a friend.
Why 45 years ? A murderer get sometimes less. Must be brutal papers.

I once asked who Nick Nolte was but my study group just patronized me
Amazing actor, just rewatched North Dallas Forty and he is incredible in it.

After appearing in over 40 films.
Nick Nolte was the Matthew McConaughey of the Joe McCarthy era.
Never seen him young before! He looks quite handsome.
He was always so handsome. Remember him modeling hair lightener we used to get waaay back as a teen. The movie with Robert Redford where they walk Appalachian trail “A Walk in the Woods” is so good, he is so hysterical in it lol. Love that movie
Didn’t he go to college for a while too?
Very handsome. Always loved him
That jacket is dope
Why is this cool?
Ironically, his most commonly played role in movies was as cop or detective…
I’m convinced that Nick Nolte and Kurt Russell are the same person. As is Sigourney Weaver and Susan Sarandon, and Bill Paxton and Bill Pullman.
I thought 1980 might be a stretch. He was already a movie star by then.
The Deep was awesome in 1978.
He also wore hooks for hands.
I just watched The Three Fugitives. According to Nick it’s $200 for a permit and $500 for a passport.
I just watched the movie Death Sentence in which he co-stars the other night on this 25 Mystery classics DVD.
That is one beautiful man.
Man, my old boss only got 2 years for embezzling $2 million.
That really makes 48 Hrs. even more ironic, since he’s playing a cop who works with a felon.
Wow! He was a hottie!!
This picture makes me understand how he got his title of “The sexiest man alive”.
Strong Dawson Leery vibes.
one of my favorite Mac Miller bars: Nick Nolte in some Oakleys
Why’s he dressed like a hotdog though
