I think In 20-30 years there will be a lot of very similar mega cities because becoming de facto city states with nearly 100% corporate control.
Like if Amazon could do what Arasaka does in cyberpunk…… they definitely would.
Companies already fund private armies and use mercs in the developing world, lobby enough politicians in capitalist system and it’s not like the company board wouldn’t want police organizations on their payroll.
Is Cyberpunk a game I would like if I’m looking for a scifi-Skyrim experience? My main draw to open world is exploring and discovering things on my own, and I have little interest in long story lines.

Extremely cool to navigate in a videogame, would have probably kms before hitting 30 if I really lived in it.
