Sorry, what word are they singing? I couldn’t make it out.
This whole thing makes me so sad. We’ll never get to see this and those years of work these people put into it all for nothing.
Streaming feels like it’s become the death of cinema.
Is it still composing if you just throw other peoples works in a blender and call it a day?
“Composed” is a stretch here… this is really an arrangement of another composer’s work.
Fuck David Zaslav. Fuck him up the ass with big rubber dick then break it off and beat him with the rest of it.
This is great
How is it that a movie produced (and story) by James Gunn based on a known and classic IP with John Cena and Will Forte attached was cancelled? It had a budget of 70 million, they should easily make their money back and then some if they release near spring break or early summer. I just can’t see the rationale behind this decision.
God that’s hack. Everyone knew this film was god awful. An embarrassment.
Hmmmm he didn’t compose this, but arranged it. Sheesh
It’s literally just the 1812 overture?
This is an arrangement of Tchaikovsky. The composer is more accurately called an orchestrator here.
It’s time for a billionaire to buy WB and release the shelved movies, they will make money because of all the drama around being shelved
This would have been amazing. I can only imagine how funny it would have been for the Roadrunner to somehow foil Wile E’s grand plan as this played. Sucks.
Movies get canned, it’s been happening for years. We are just seeing WB bungle it in the past couple years by rushing into filming instead of letting things linger and die in development hell. I can’t imagine everyone was foaming at the mouth for a Wile E. Coyote movie either so the write down was probably better than releasing it with a contractual marketing budget equal to the production budget for double the loss.
Anyone know how far along with the film was? How close to completion?
Meep meep.
The Warner Bros executives need to be fired… out of a cannon… into a tunnel painted on a wall.
I’m not totally unconvinced that this isn’t just one giant marketing strat to get hype around this movie that was never canceled to begin with.
Yea, I don’t think that’s a score he composed for this movie…
he “composed”. more like covered
Lol this is officially a circlejerk now
Nobody actually cares about the score to this movie, c’mon
Swingle Singers did it better
