š«” welcome to the trenches son, you got thisš
Way to go! Donāt belittle that brave accomplishment, āisnāt muchā is a cool start from which you can shape your home. These are what are often called the [salad days](https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/salad%20days).
Everyone starts somewhere! Well done.
19? Youāre still only a childā¦ a brave one nonetheless. Good luck, work hard, donāt do addictive drugs, and be nice to yourself from time to time
I was on my own at 17, 35 years ago and have a great career, family, wife and friends now. I know how much harder it is for kids today, but this old man is proud of anyone who fights and becomes independent these days.
Build your life and be proud. Your anonymous Reddit pal wishes you well. These are the best years you will have, becoming your own person…cherish them and crush it!
For the most part, doesn’t matter too much where you or how you live, as long as you’re happy and moving forward. Keep moving forward.
Congrats! Be strong
BRAVO!
Good luck to you.
Hell yeah man. May not be much but itās yours and your doing it.
This is awesome! Good job š¤
Home is where the heart is.
I will never forget my first place on my own. The freedom of it. It’s a beautiful thing.
Fuck ya giver buddy
Congratulations!! Doesn’t matter how much or what you have. The fact that you’re doing it on your own is an accomplishment in itself. You had the drive to get to this step in your life, keep that same drive going when it comes to education and work, everything else will fall into place.
I’m proud of you!
That’s an awesome accomplishment. Think about what is going to take too keep it on track for the next few months. Set a few goals of what you’d like to see in a year. Even if it doesn’t happen, you get a metric and and idea of stacking successes and tracking what’s hard. And no matter what youre making for money, stuff a percentage away every time you get paid. It adds up.
I didnt live on my own till i was 24 :/
Way to go. The only way left is up. We’re all rooting for you.

Hell yeah, man, work hard and make a life for yourself! When I was 18 I used to sleep on a pile of my clothes behind a couch in the apartment I stayed at we used to call it the nest. I’m 31 now making over 100k a year you got this!
Good job man and no one starts off owning a mansion unless your career is trust fund baby so take it one step at a time and work steadily towards your goals
It is a big achievement. Savour it bro
Huge my man. Utterly huge. Proud of you
Keep on fighting, youāre going to make it even better!
I’m proud of you too, congratulations!
My first night on my own had me, my futon, my alarm clock and a bowl of ramen noodles. You gotta start somewhere š«”š„
I see a mattress. You are already winning! š
I remember I slept on the floor for a week. Then upgraded to an air mattress for 6 months before I could afford to buy a &400 mattress.
There is no price for freedom. I survived with my little george foreman grill just making paninins for months. That and 711 saved me.
