iMUSE was a clever solution to a tricky issue, and really helped give each locale and scene a *vibe*. I had the Amiga version which sounded different, but not necessarily worse depending on your PC soundcard.
I never got to play the games but my cousin’s told me that it was so good that I got the new physical title of return to monkey island. It was Hella funny
This series (actually most Western games, but let me not get into that right now) get almost completely ignored in conversations about videogame music come around, which is a crying shame.
It also has some of the most beautiful pixel art ever put to digital canvas.
Great series!
