Kind of a weird title but cool it’s coming to New York
I love this!
I enjoyed Afterlife, but felt like it got bogged down quite a bit in the third act serving more as a Nostalgic Love Letter to Fans than a movie.
I’m excited to see the story progress with some original ideas now that the foundation is set and the OG characters are back with the new cast.
This looks absolutely awesome. I loved Afterlife and I’m so glad the cast is back and they added great actors. Ghostbusters in New York just fits. The villain looks incredible.
Ray being low-key aroused by the villain is very on brand for his character lol
I hope it ends with Patton Oswalt going on a 30 minute filibuster about Vigo The Carpathian.
Frozen Empire just doesn’t sounds like a Ghostbusters title at all

This feels like it would have been the plot of a two part special of the cartoon series.. and I kind of like that.
Ok this looks decent. I’m in. Something tells me Paul Rudd is gonna make this hilarious.
Kind of wish I watched this in theatres and didn’t know it was a ghostbusters movie. Looks really good but I think I’d be hyped in the theatre and freaking out with my friends.
Been waiting a long time to see Paul Rudd suit up with an unlicensed nuclear accelerator on his back, so that with the OG crew back again, I’m definitely down.
Damn, I had no idea Bill Murray was coming back for this one.

It’s just weird that Ghostbusters was a sardonic comedy about 3 guys who started a small business, hired a rando, and then saved the world in spite of their incompetence and now it’s a light-comedy/superhero thing

If people like it, more power to them I suppose. It’s just weird seeing what it’s become.

I haven’t liked one since the original, but at least they’re doing something sort of different with this one and I’m surprised all of the OG cast is returning again. I’ll give it a try.

Looks like an original story instead of a rehash, is set in NYC where Ghostbusters should always be, Patton Oswalt is in it, and Paul Rudd does the Paul Rudd laugh.
That’s enough to pique my interest, at least.
I know it’ll probably be a short scene, but I’m suprised Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, and Ernie Hudson are back

Cool, really liked the new Ghostbusters team and happy to see it wasn’t a prequel.
I don’t hate it. Bunch of cool people involved.
HOPE THE SCRIPT DOESN’T SUCK (hint hint fucking hint)
I’ve never really fallen in line with many fandom like Star Wars, Harry Potter, etc., but I understand their fanaticism because I feel the way about Ghostbusters that they probably do about their franchises. I see this with rose colored glasses and can’t wait for more merch and the movie to come out.
Well looks like trailers are starting to shift back to pre Covid where we are getting them way far in advance now, and I’m not sure this helps the hype. People have no patience anymore.

Looks like an original story with an original villain. Which is a nice change.
Seems pretty violent for a Ghostbusters film. And they’re ramping up the horror elements here as well.
I wonder if they would actually kill off another one of the OG’s in this film?

Since these are becoming more serious in tone, maybe we could have one where the government/military acknowledges ghosts are a threat and they step in to take control, butting heads with the Ghostbusters.
If you’re going to keep putting New York in jeopardy then it will become increasingly contrived to leave the city’s fate in the hands of a small group of children and geriatrics from a dissolved 1980s exterminator service.

I know I’m supposed to be jumping in line to shit on some minute detail, but I just can’t. I only recently watched Afterlife, and it was fucking awesome. This trailer was also fucking awesome, and I can’t wait to say the movie is too! I don’t care what the great negative internet horde has to say. These movies are goddam rad, and if you don’t think so, fine… Just shut the fuck up and let those of us in our 40s just enjoy the shit out of them in peace.
