I have this album. Great song, but this live version is not so good.
Huh. That’s definitely a transformation.
To me…this is just her character from Dazed and Confused…
Hmm, must have been cold in the studio…
Flap them arms
Multipass?
wtf did I just watch
CHICKAAAN
My wife loooooved this album
That…that was excellent. I had no idea.
This album is such a hidden gem from the 90s, people just cannot conceive that someone like Milla Jovovich, known as a super model and action movie star, could also be an intelligent and creative artist and so her musical projects just get laughed off and disrespected, The Divine Comedy is one of my all time favourite albums, the last track In A Glade, which she sings in Ukranian, is beautiful
Alanis singing style and Björk’s body movement
If you haven’t heard the album version of this song, you should check it out. It is a more sped up version, and it is pretty good.
This performance doesn’t do it justice.
The songs is called Gentleman Who Fell.
She must have loved Tori Amos.
I had the pleasure of seeing her live at Blossom Music Center in Ohio in the mid 90’s

I can remember watching this on TV when I was in high school. It made a big impression on me because of how … um … interesting it was.
TIL Milla Jovovich could sing.
She did sing with Maynard, in Puscifer.
Wow i didnt realize she had musical talent as well
This song randomly gets stuck in my head sometimes because I saw it on Beavis and Butthead.
“The Gentleman Who Fell.” Great song, totally forgot about this one.
Absolute smoke show, but super glad she became famous for acting, instead.
I saw her in concert supporting this album (which she wrote at the age of 16 by the way). She opened for Toad the wet sprocket. It was a great show, and I really enjoy the Divine Comedy as a whole. It’s so cool to see this. She was nearly 19 when I saw her perform.
Alanis Multipass
It’s a great album too. Live performance doesn’t do this song justice, though.
She will always be hot like 10,000 suns…
She found a certain, somewhat narrow lane of acting and she was really good at it.
I had no idea she sang.
I didn’t even know she sang.
A pretty stripped-down acoustic version of the song. Sounds nice.
Somehow I made it this long without ever knowing she’s a singer.
