I got to see Ann as a guest performer at Teatro Zinzanni. It was years ago, before they moved TZ out to the suburbs. She still had it back then and likely still does.
I took my first real girlfriend to see Heart in high school. When Nancy sang “These Dreams” I about shit my pants from the shock and awe and forgot my new girlfriend was on the planet for 5 minutes.
The high school I went to was recently changed from Wilson and I think they missed an opportunity to re-dedicate it for the Wilson sisters. If for no other reason than playing Barracuda as the teams take the field.
Heart was my first concert in 1980. I bought the tickets with my paper route money and “took” my Mom. I caught a pick that Howard threw out during the encore, it was heart shaped.
Saw this era o live and they were memorable. Onstage they had a little stone well that would occasionally poof out a smoke ring. The Ren Fair vibe was strong. The band was great.

You can tell she genuinely wants to help guitar players learn something cool.
I’ve been jamming to Heart so much lately. Nancy’s writing and playing is so insanely good, and Ann’s voice is just iconic.

Heart was one of the very first bands I’d started to enjoy as a kid. Those two are awesome.
That’s some insanely talented genes… also, Ann and Nancy both looked like goddesses…
I was in the military when they were first on the scene. As a young lad I had a crush on Ann big time. She is still beautiful. 🤤
