Some say a heart is just like a wheel… fun fact, Ronstadt and EmmyLou Harris were great friends with the McGarrigle Sisters, a beloved Montreal group and amazing songwriter duo. There’s many recordings of their collaborations, and at least one of all four of them together (can’t remember which one).
She was so great that she can still make me stop in my tracks when I hear her singing and sometimes it brings tears to my eyes. Remembering her is so sweet like meeting an old lover from way back when.
I read about her in Rolling Stone back in the day–she bought a new Porsche when she’d made some money. She bought a manual but thought it was an automatic–she drove around in first gear until she blew up the engine.
I think I know the guy on drums

It’s so easy to fall in love with her.

The greatest female singer that I have heard in person! Unreal! Mothers Day 1995!
Is that Steve Gadd on drums?!
just hanging with her backup band who would later be…THE EAGLES!
“Mister Plow is a loser, and I think he is a boozer…”
What a voice.
Love her version of CARMELITA.

She’s so dope! I did think this pic was Sally Field at 1st glance.
No one out today can sing like her or is as cute as she was
I just saw the documentary on her. I think it’s on prime video. It was very good. I fell in love with her all over again.
Ha! I’m watching her on a 1979 Saturday night live show right now when I scrolled on this.
Dreams to Dream is one of my favorites.
So talented that two of her backing bands became talented bands in their own right.
The decade she didn’t wear a bra.
Blue Bayou, You’re No Good, When Will I Be Loved, Desperado. I know what I’ll be listening to today!
Been a favourite since The Stone Ponys Days. Have every album. ‘Hurts So Bad’ (a fave) when I hear her sing..( It’s So Easy) to Love Her
