Brothers laser printer. No bs if you get third party cartridge. No head needing to be cleans often if you don’t use the printer often. Just works.

It’s amazing. HP used to be THE Printer company. The HP III and 4 just wouldn’t die. Their color inkjets were the best color printers available at the time.
I can only guess they got consultation from the MacKenzie people (see Last Week Tonight with John Oliver) because suddenly their printers sucked (looking at you, HP 4000 and any HP Laserjet Pnnnn). I will say the HP Color Laserjet 5 worked fairly well but that was about the last I remember of HP being any good.
When my last pos printer finally died I decided to never buy another again. Either it gets printed/copied at work or I live within walking distance of a public library and will just go do it there.
Ink jet printers should be illegal, they’re fucking junk and just a waste of resources.
I can’t help but start thinking about the office space scene where they go ape shit on the printer 😂😂😂
My HP printer was worth every penny until it wasn’t. Trashed it 5 years ago. Needed a printer exactly once since.

The HP printers at work are 400 series. Both bought at the same time and should be identical in every way. One just isn’t working half the time but it is physically fine. The other is just chugging along happily.
At home I have one that has behaved itself relatively well for the last 5 years. It’s got a static IP but if it moves I often have to reinstall the drivers on all computers in the house. Changing network port, remove and re add it !!!
The wife suggested the printer is either sullen or haunted and at this point I agree with her.
LOL, just got the exact same model replaced this week under SmartCare.
