I’m really loving all these high-concept/meta horror movies we’ve gotten ever since Happy Death Day. (Freaky being my favorite of the bunch)
They’re the not the most earth shattering or harrowing journeys through the darkness of man’s soul but they’re very solid in nearly every aspect. PERFECT movies to throw on with a group of people.
I think horror fans will look back on these movies with a lot of fondness for years to come.
‘Its a Wonderful Life’ is a horror movie about a man who is cursed to be stuck in the same town his entire life when his future wife makes a wish (rock through broken window) for him to stay there and be with her.
His father dies forcing him to cancel his trip and take over the building and loan, his brother elopes preventing him from going to college, a run on the bank prevents him from going on his honeymoon, and his bad ear even prevents him from going to war.
I feel like a lot of horror films are a writing prompts where someone came up with a funny play on words and decided to write an entire narrative around it.
I just need one more Christmas movie where the title is a pun on a Christmas phrase.
Oh my, if that doesn’t just stab at the ol’ heart strings.
With a renewed public interest in this type of Christmas film, I’m really hoping “The Night The Reindeer Died” becomes a reality one day.
The swerve is that it’s a movie where a movie monster is shown that he’s made an impact on the world and that he shouldn’t wish he was never born
What’s the bett this gets renamed – in the uk 😬
So first We got Freaky Friday Slasher, Freaky, then BttF Slasher Totally Killer, now this. Whats next a Parent Trap/Saw mashup just called Trap?
TreeVenge still takes the prize IMO https://youtu.be/RTfpcdK27-0?feature=shared
Wasn’t this the name of an Itchy & Scratchy episode?
Thought it was a pizza cutter.
Coming soon, “Is it pizza cutter”

Grandma gunned down by a reindeer. Coming next Christmas
Oh shudder. All the small one words in red made me think this was a Netflix original. Maybe it’ll be good then.

I am just really not into these horror parodies of innocent stuff. It feels cheap and stupid. Write something original, you wankers.
I absolutely want to see this, thus, I never knew it existed and I looked some stuff up about it.
Can we stop spoiling the one wholesome and positive time of year we have left by turning into murder, please?
Uff, exciting…

“What is it you want Mary? You want the moon? Just say the word and I’ll throw a lasso around it… to hang you with”
You know, “slay”, Christmas Slay
Really liked Freaky so hopefully this is fun too
Cringy
Freaky was actually really good. So I’m hopeful
One of the characters in this movie is named Gale Prescott and I find that so funny
The kinda title 17 year old me would’ve come up with.
Will definitely watch.
So you see George you shouldn’t kill yourself… I mean you absolutely should kill yourself… but stab Potter with a knife first.
Honestly, pretty mid knife if you ask me.
All holiday horror movies feel like they’re written by AI.
Freaky was pretty well written IMO. So why not
deepfake jimmy stewart and donna reed on the actors, pls
Just because you thought of a witty name that rhymes with something, doesn’t mean you then have to make an entire move.
Hang on is the Cigarette Smoking Man in this
Its a good knife
Hate “Life” so this title is great.
Ohh I’m into it
