That was very cool
Tell someone even 100 years ago that we would be listening to the sound of a helicopter on a distant planet more than 380 million kms away on my laptop from the comfort of my office and they’d probably send me off to the loony bin.
*Edit* Definitely off to the loony bin. Helicopters were not even invented 100 years ago!
Dude so I am deployed right now in the middle east and that’s wtf I am missing. The natural ambience of birds and wind blowing through trees. I basically hear what it sounds like on mars. Just wind blowing through sand bc there are no trees, which means no birds. And it drives me wild. I miss the sound of birds in the morning, or the sound of a tree as wind blows through it.
