Everybody needs gas.

  • My dad worked at a gas station during the fuel crisis when he was in high school.Fights and bribery were a daily occurrence..When they were closing down for the day he’d have to walk out and hang a sign on the last car in line. And someone would always offer him some crazy amount of money move the sign back one more spot so they could get their gas for the night.

The other perk of the job was he’d get to buy as much gas as he wanted. At the time I think he had a 60’s era Chevy pickup with massive, and I mean MASSIVE reserve fuel tanks in the bed.
