I had to Zoom in to check this wasn’t my grandparents! How come everyone’s grandparents looked identical in the 1940’s?
What a time to be young. Crazy how much changes so fast.
That would be a way different movie if it was made today.

The thing is with people from that era is they look different.
They could be anywhere from 20-40 and you wouldn’t know it.
When the word gay could be used without connotations…

In other news, my grandmother’s 1930’s teen gal-pal group was called “The Gay Girls.”
Boy, was she pissed when the primary usage of that word changed.
I wonder where the threshold occurred from being happy to being, well, gay.
