Had my favorite pizza delivered and just watched the new episode of Futurama on tv. Here I am chilling with Diablo. I am 30 years old, the year is 2023.

I can just barely make out the faint outlines of the Diablo interface on the old CRT monitor, there — it used to be almost impossible to get a good photo of a screen. Looks much like my idea of a good time in my teenage years in the 1990s. 😉

It took me a while, but I finally understand why this picture is kind of a mindfuck. The monitor, Little Caesars, actual film being used for the picture. Looks like a night of gaming back in the day.
But look at the gaming controller next to the keyboard. One of those $15 multi-purpose controllers you get at Five Below. A small action figure of Woody on the shelf. The printout order stickers on the pizza box, a freaking iPhone watch band. And maybe an Android frog figure on the back shelf?
Not stuff you would have seen in the 90’s (maybe the Woody, but unlikely after just one movie).
I’m confused by this picture. That pizza box is from 2017, that’s when they changed the logo. Did a time traveler deliver the pizza??

I was grown by the time I got into video games so I never needed permission. 😂 however, I almost flunked out of my first semester of college because I went out and got an SNES with final fantasy and played it constantly. (1992)
