Guy on the bike [got caught.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eov01BbI5mM&ab_channel=6abcPhiladelphia) I’m so sick of these people. I’m really surprised they don’t get hit by cars more often.
What awful news, reporting like this was some sort of have a go hero (which i guess it was), something to be applauded, and not someone who hadn’t thought through what the consequences might be. Things could have gone south very quickly and the kids would be without a mother (not that I blame her for what she did, but the news need to be more responsible how they frame these things so others don’t put themselves in a dangerous situation).

People meme on stand your ground laws but I sure don’t see a lot of that sort of stuff in the news around here.
poor lady was doing food deliveries with her kid in the car and this POS tried to be a tough guy… and miserably fail. Rot in jail, asshole.
Everyone at that illegal bike ride needs to be charged with facilitating his behavior. This is not a legal protest that got out of hand or hijacked. This was an illegal bike gang activity and those involved need to be held accountable for those who did more illegal things at this illegal activity.

That woman is a true American hero. Standing your ground is truly an American value you don’t see much around the world and something that is on the decline here. You can say that it’s better to keep your life than confront someone, but when that becomes everyone’s default setting, that’s when crime rises in frequency and violence; when the criminals know their victims and everyone around chooses to say nothing and do nothing. It ends up hurting the most vulnerable in the long run; women, children, and the elderly. It’s ok if you don’t want to fight, but let those who want to fight back balance things out for the sake of society. This woman is a great example of courage, bravery, and righteous.
