I’m so curious about the musical aspect of this movie.
It makes me shake my head that so many people are adamantly against the idea that this movie will have a musical component to it; like, what, you wanted the same movie as the first? Glad they’re opting for something a bit different here, very curious how it’ll all turn out.
I watched Joker for the second time recently. I really enjoyed it more this time. Definitely excited for the sequel. Not a huge fanboy like a lot of people on Reddit, but I do like the movie. Batman is by far my favorite comic character, and Joker is my favorite of his villains.
If it’s as good as the first one was, bring on the music lol

This is going to be either amazing or absolute shit show if a movie. No in between.
All I know is that I’m a huge Batman/Joker nerd, and I love me a musical. Pitch Perfect fucks and I don’t care who hears it. Can’t wait for this one.
Theory. The film isn’t going to be about Joker breaking Harley. It’s going to be about Harley breaking Arthur.
Since the first one ripped off Taxi Driver and King Of Comedy, it makes sense the sequel will rip off New York, New York and After Hours.
Why isn’t the Jonkler using an umbrella? Is he stupid?
I’m stoked. Loved the first one and I’m digging Lady Gaga as a more run down/rough Harley instead of the over sexualized versions we normally get.

The people I’ve talked to who love it have never seen taxi Driver or king of comedy. The people who dislike it have seen them. I find that interesting.
I am so so excited for the musical aspect of this film. Could be something truly special if they can pull it off

I’ll be honest, if the musical element is similar to ‘A Clockwork Orange’ it would be perfect. But Gaga’s involvement will no doubt dictate [to a large extent] the musical element.
