This game holds up to this day, the best CoD in my opinion, and one of my favourite games. The potato throwing tutorial is such nostalgia. When they made CoD WW2 I was honestly hoping it was going to be an HD version of this.
I didn’t realize until watching BoB and The Pacific that alot of the early COD missions were actual events (obviously the wars were real but I didn’t realize the missions were).
The scene in BoB where they’re taking the 3 guns is a COD mission, and so is the storming of the japanese airfield in The Pacific.
Could be more, but immediately watching those two scenes I got flashbacks to the COD missions.
I played a few months ago, and found a full 20 player S&D server. It was hard because there’s alot of servers that just spoof the player count. but it made me so happy to see people still on being on my childhood, unfortunately my ping was unplayable
Playing an old game gives me the most beautiful feeling ever like I went back in time to relife my childhood movies and other things can’t give the same feeling.
Ahh damn I still remember the day the demo for the game was distributed here and there, we tried it on my cousin’s computer after spending the afternoon on Encarta… good times
One of my favorite COD games, this game is still masterpiece.
Yeah, it was still one of the greats, before the third one arrived…
Sucks I never got to play this one. my first cod was modern warfare
This one has the best multiplayer out of all of them imo
My favorite Call of Duty game.
One of the best call of duty campaigns.
Back when CoD still took itself seriously and wasn’t a joke game with Nikki Minaj and Skeletor skins
I remember playing the game on veteran. Me and Steve was the only ones in our friends group that was able to complete on veteran.
this was back when Medal of Honor was the premier FPS
I wish modern CODs had a COD 2 multiplayer game mode. I miss how simple it was. No perks, no attachments, no kill streaks.
Just as beautiful as the day we left you

I really want to Defend Ze Objective! with Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Medic!

I miss the older 2000s ww2 games.
I’m on it now on PC. Absolutely brilliant if a little repetitive
“Why are we throwing potatoes instead of real grenades?”
“Because real grenades are VALUABLE”
Is that “red star” ? Like the 2nd cod ? I remmeber playing it on gamecube, DAMN good games
I thought it was only available on console or something, I couldn’t find it on steam either when I checked. Does anyone know how to play this on pc?
Still holds up incredibly well. A genuine treat.

The games were great but the times were amazing
Ppsh go brrrr

The very first CoD is labelled as playable on the Steam Deck. I’m about to check it out.
Last CoD I played :B
