Looks like a really solid female led sci-fi thriller I’d prefer to see in a theater that’s being directly released on Hulu. Weird that this is now second time that’s happened.
Alien home invasion? Very nice. Hollywood has kinda given up on the alien invasion genre and that sucks cause I feel like with a great writer there are some really interesting stories that can be told in that setting.
I love that there isn’t a single line of dialogue whatsoever in this trailer, and I feel like I’ve got a better sense of what’s going on rather than most other trailers released lately. Less is more sometimes.

I hope we’re in for a Twilight Zone “The Invaders” homage where the main character doesn’t speak. It would probably be for more of a tribute than for the reason the Twilight Zone did it, but I’d still love to see it.
It looks to me like this is a mean-spirited alien invasion movie. Like that one scene from Fire in the Sky. Those ‘get fucked, human meat’ style aliens who love to hear you scream lol.
I’m all for those. That’s when it’s the best horror. Like the Slumber Party VHS segment, or the back half of Adult Swim Yule Log. Or Extraterrestrial. Gimme those mean fucken greys lol.
God why is the quality of big studio trailers on Youtube so fucking BAD?!!!?!! Little hobbyist Youtubers manage to upload their videos in crisp 4K, but these studio channels can only manage to upload an ultra low bitrate, muddy, barely 1080p export that’s full of blocky artifacts that’s painful to look at?

After Prey, I’m rooting for more spiritual successors in the horror/thriller genre for Hulu. I wish we had more classic alien abduction films.
