Any time Meryl Streep does TV, it feels like an MLB All-Star walking onto the field at a minor league baseball game. Just there for fun, but also hitting dinger after dinger.
This season is really good. I’m just not a fan of the show clearly pointing at Meryl’s character like it is. Its supposed to be a mystery but they are doing everything in their power to make it seem like she killed Paul Rudd. Thats just a dumb thing to do in a whodunit, because it means she clearly didn’t do it.
I know Meryl’s singing is amazing, but we should also show more appreciation for the music itself. I know it’s the composers from La La Land, and the score is absolutely incredible.
An incredible performance, naturally.
…was I the only one who didn’t know that Streep could sing?
Edit: it seems, maybe, that yes I was the only one who didn’t know.

I heard she had the flu and was amazing in it
Fun fact, the song is co-written by Sara Bareilles

I watched S1 and loved it. Just got started on S2 and realized Amy Schumer is in it. Yuck. Is it worth finishing? Or should I just go straight to S3?
Goddam I love this show

Show seems lost, Paul Rudd was a bad choice, bad start in my opinion. Better get back to what made the show fun. Doing a broadway show isn’t it. Boo
