As a fan of 80s/early 90s action flicks, the first was pretty damn close to a perfect recapture of those for me – something the sequels have yet to live up to (*though still pretty cool*).
It’s one of my favourite movies though, if not my favourite. I’ll definitely see this – it looks rad – but with that shit they pulled with Terry Crews, it won’t be at the cinema.
I thought no one would do this after Fant4stic but ig I was wrong.
Well, honestly, you know, this trailer gave me some hope. Who doesn’t like some ridiculous action, anyway?
Please don’t waste Iko Uwais like they do in every other English language action movie.
Tony Jaa should’ve been a superstar in the states. I hope his role is decent sized.
I think them not having Willis (obvious), Arnold, van damme but these other folks that can actually still be violent action stars will allow the movie to have the fun, over the top laughable action.
Even Garcia has that humorous air to him when he talks lol. He knows what he’s doing.
Plus a crime fight who can smell crime? How can you say no
> They’ll die when they’re dead
this reads like a lyric in a Sammy Hagar era Van Halen song
Test screenings for this have apparently been awful. I have low expectations
50 Cent campaigning for a Razzie.
Where the fuck is Antonio Banderas as Galgo? ALL HE NEED IS A JOB!!!

Doesn’t feel like the expendables. Lots of questionable actor choices here when the franchise is built on action stars.
I still can’t figure out if *THEY’LL DIE WHEN THEY’RE DEAD* is the dumbest tagline ever, or the most awesome.
The answer must be yes.
I see they went to the Battleship school of ship drifting.
John Cena would have been great for this.
Old blood v new blood? Sooooo we’re just doing the idea of the 3rd one over again already
First minute of this trailer made me think this was going to be a rom com with Jason Statham and Megan Fox and honestly I’d rather watch that movie.
What the hell is that bit at the beginning
New blood = 40 yr old actors
I was like oh they’re gonna bring a young contingent of Expendables?
“Megan Fox” “Andy Garcia”
Lmao
I’m gonna need to be extremely high to enjoy this one. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Was the first minute of this trailer a different movie? Tf was that
Stallone is billed last and wears the same shirt in nearly every scene of the trailer, it’s obvious that he dies like 15 minutes into the movie.
Which brings me to question… what’s the point? The whole idea was classic action movie stars. Instead we get plastic Megan Fox. And Terry Crews was the funniest character in the other movies, and he’s not in this because the producer sexually assaulted him and he spoke up.
“and Stallone” credit? Yeah, he is totally dying by the 20 minute mark.
This franchise had so much potential…
The year of Jason Statham. He’s a spy, he’s a mercenary, he’s a pretty good driver and a shark hunter. Is he good in all of it? Probably. Will all of it be good?, Probably not.
I watched Expendables 1+2. The opening of 2 is fucking awesome, 10 minutes of non stop loud action and senseless violence.
Megan Fox? 50 cent? RHCP song for some reason? I have so many questions.
This is the first time I’m not hyped for an Expandable movie. The new cast is such a downgrade to the recipe that has been 80/90’s bad ass action stars.
Sad.
No Jet Li, Donnie Yen? Pity.
“New blood” except they did that in the 3rd movie, literally as the crux of the entire plot, and every single one of them aren’t returning. The best they can do is Megan Fox and 50 Cent? I’m not even gonna badwatch this one.
No Scott Adkins finally front and center is such a missed opportunity.
I got bored halfway into the trailer
I don’t think this franchise even knows what it is anymore
Expend-affordables
This might be the worst non-horror movie series I can think of to get four very wide theatrical releases.
Every one of these movies is so goddamned terrible. Even the fight scenes are unwatchable.
Megan is yuk
