First film was fun and this one has a good cast and it looks interesting but of course reddit still goes with Netflix bad circlejerk. How dare they make a sequel/spinoff for their worldwide hit which has potential for spinoffs. This will probably be huge hit too while people here are bitching.
The first ‘Bird Box’ was a decent post-apocalyptic movie, with good performances by Bullock & Hollander.
I think the BB universe is an interesting one to expand on, so I will be watching this spin-off starring Mario Casas.
And it looks like we will be getting more spin-offs

If they’re not exploring the different cultural reactions to the beings and are just rehashing the same plot points, these spinoffs are pointless.

I liked the idea of story but the execution wasn’t great. The soundtrack is great though.
I think it looks good. No one had pointed out that the dog was also blind folded, I don’t know if that was in the first one but it’s interesting. I like the atmosphere just from the trailer, it feels very apocalyptic. I’m just disappointed that this is a movie and not a show
