Honestly. I have a hard time playing Dishonored and going all kills when I know the killing just leads to more rats and a worse ending. So stealth and knock outs it is but it ends up a loop of getting spotted, killing, “fuck sakes”, reload, repeat. My younger self who was patient enough to play Splinter Cell would be ashamed.
Tbh in infamous (great old ps3 game) I did not care everyone dies but to make sure I didn’t end up getting the “evil” thing I helped every pedestrian and that eventually boosted me up
Good luck doing that in Fear & Hunger. Its save system is closer to that of Resident Evil, where you can’t just save anywhere at any time. You gotta flip a coin to not get attacked while you’re asleep in a bed (you do NOT want to lose that coin toss), or you gotta get lucky and find a book of enlightenment.

When that happens, I do the first picture & then reload.
relatable
Always have to play those sorts of games twice, once the “good karma” way, and then a second “however the hell I want” way.

When I play games I feel bad for hurting npc feelings
