This is exactly how shareholder votes go. I got an electronic ballot for my Walmart stock (gift from a relative) and it went almost exactly like this:
The Board recommends voting Yes to elect the following Board members (all the incumbents, if there were challengers, they were not listed).
The Board recommends you vote No on the following initiatives (an initiative for workplace safety, and an initiative to report on vulnerability to communist China).
The Board recommends you vote Yes on the following initiatives (increase in compensation for executives).
It’s insane how accurate this video is and it is likely that way in every major corporation.
Edit: I voted against the recommendations on every issue, though I’m sure I had as much effect on that vote as I do when I vote for the fucking President, maybe even less.
Until people understand how corporate power is maintained, real change will never happen.

Are we implying this is McDonald’s? And why not just say who the company is if it’s public? Be brave and call the fuckers out.
My shareholder meeting usually consists with a guy shoving a banana up his ass. Can’t stop won’t stop!
i went to mcd last week and they gave me a plastic straw i was so happy
yes an over the top, single view point, parody video is going to change the world ..

It remains that this is an ad for an investing app. But I guess they made an edgy commercial so we should trust them to be the good guys?
Isn’t this just an add for an app?
