Different toys for different times…
Yea, my dad had a toy he passed on to me. Big Bang Cannon, load it up with “watered down” gunpowder, strike a flint and boom! Designed to look like ww2 artillery cannons. I still have it but fear that breaking it out for some fun will have the neighbors calling the cops.
I agree, our parents definitely had a different type of fun back then. It’s interesting to see how entertainment options have evolved over time.
“Teach them Commie rats a thing or two!”
implications aside, that does look like a pretty sweet toy
I’d say it was modeled after the B29
I’m pretty sure “Cowboys and Indians” were pretty popular back then too
This makes me want some Taylor Ham.
