[The Spectacular Spider-Man] Symbiote Spider-Man faces off against the Sinister Six. With all the Spider-Man buzz for the new movie, I thought I’d share one of my favorite moments from the show that many consider being THE definitive version of Spider-Man.

The definitive version of spider man is a movie with Toby Macguire in it
Honestly, I have to say *The Spectacular Spider-Man* is my favourite on-screen thing that Marvel has ever made. My only issue with it is that it got cancelled after such a great and tantalising season 2 finale due to legal issues regarding Sony and Marvel.
I love the live-action actors of Spider-Man, but if I had to pick my favourite performance of the webhead, it has to be that of Josh Keaton, whose portrayal of the character often gets overlooked simply because it’s a voice role for an animated series.
It will always be the 90s cartoon that is the definitive adaptation of Spider-man for me.
wtf this shit looks so much worst than 90s TAS
The fight Spidey has between the three Crime Lords at the Opera is just incredible. It was so satisfying, bought some things full arc and opened up new possibilities. I think about it a lot.
Why does Spider-Man not talk the entire time?
I’ll hold the classic 90s cartoon a bit above this but one thing I always loved about Spectacular Spider-man was how it wove it’s villains into the story. Also this clip just makes me want a Sinister Six movie with this exact premise, give Spider-man the black suit and make him out to be the villain.
