People are saying “Have fun modding it for 10 hours” my suggestion is to keep the mods light, and try Skyrim Together: Reborn. Is it stable? Not really. But it’s a ton of fun.
So dumb that there’s no option to disable cloud-syncing with savedata. The only way is to completely disconnect the entire console. Like if I have a physical console, I want to only use the saves that’s on my physical console, not some server-hall over in the UK or US.
Have you by any chance tried Enderal forgotten stories? Complete overhaul mod for Skyrim but like really well done in every aspect including voice acting. I started it couple of weeks ago when I had urge to play Skyrim but also wanted something fresh. Been hooked ever since. 4.9/5 only complains being occasional bugs but hey, those are also part of the Skyrim vanilla experience.
I started playing again on PC after years (previously played on the 360).
The mods people have made are fantastic, absolutely amazing to experience it again but with new lighting and weather. Just recently a FP combat mod came out called Comprehensive First Person Animation Overhaul that makes the combat at least a little more compelling. It’s fun to play and explore again. I was marveling at the sights, dark environments with true lighting coming from fire, walking through pelting rain, and being able to start the game as a mercenary from Morrowind.
Half the reason I never touch my ps4, as well as the reason I don’t own a ps5. Any urge I get to play a game, it better be one of the ones I played recently, otherwise I see the download time, go back to PC or find something else to do.
I miss the good old days of just putting any of the games I have in to play them, not make choices on what apps, games or save files to delete to make room for the newest 20gig patch.
This is why you never delete good games from your switch
that gameplay goes hard af
welp now you’re gonna spend 5 days installing mods and then start the game, play for an hour or 2 and stop 😀
repeat this in a couple weeks/months
Have fun modding it for 8 hours only to stop playing after the intro
I booted up Forza Horizon 5 yesterday for the first time in months and it took well over five minutes to sync my save data.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I wanted to play some halo master chief collection a while back and then it did a hundred gig download to rewrite like half the game…
I’ve got an urge to play World of Warcraft after a 6 year break, I would if it wasn’t for Tears of the Kingdom and Diablo 4 soon.
I recently re-played Half life 2. It was as good as i remembered
Lame
There’s just something about Bethesda RPGs that makes people play them for hundreds of hours despite the many issues they have.
Starfield is likely not going to have a good launch but many people are still going to enjoy spending a lot of time with it.
Skyrim is terrible

Best game Ever made
I had the urge to play again and only lasted 20 minutes. It’s dull.
I used to be an adventurer like you, then stream took too long to update.
That’s awesome mate. I myself just gave in to the urge to play Doom 2016 again. Gonna Rip and Tear till it’s done for the tenth time now
Everyone I know plays until they get their first shout then uninstalls

The most exciting thing about Skyrim now is downloading it 😂
It’s not too late, you can still stop yourself and Uninstall, you don’t need to do that stealth archer build, make them give us es6!

skyrim SE , the result of steam backing out of charging for mods
Skyrim saves are huge. They’re tracking everything in the entire world.
Consoles > PC. Proven case.

All things come at a cost I guess.
Oh so you are finally awake?
“I’ve been syncing. for 20 minutes!”
