Not surprising given the obesity levels in the US.
US size xl doesn’t even get sold in my country in most stores, let alone xxl or xxxl
Blanked out the title and thought it was a joke on a jock strap, kinda disappointed.
EU is for US, than is correct!
Makes people from the US feel better about themselves.
I’m not fat – I’m big boned.
It’s the same reason why they make ladies clothing smaller numbers rather than large xxl etc it’s so you don’t feel fat
Fettbürger
Those kinky SM Americans. 🙂
I was a small in America, then I moved to Japan and instantly became a medium.

Because Americans don’t like to know just how fat they are compared to Europeans.
I live in the us, with a 29 inch waist wearing a medium. I dont think this is that accurate. I am 6’ tall and weight 145 lbs. unless everyone is the eu is literally starving, or smaller in size, i cant imagine a who would fit in an eu small.
Us comes in larger sizes
Moving from Europe to US, contents of underwear went to M to XL.
EDIT: oof that triggered small pp club.
We’re all obese in America and this kind of sizing makes us feel better about ourselves.
Can confirm. I’m a large in the UK but when I shop in the states for clothes I have to buy small
You think this is odd, wait until you check the condoms.
USA! USA! USA! USA!
Try buying shoes in SE Asia with size 12 feet.
americans are fat
Have you not been to Europe? It was the inspiration for The Shire in Lord of the Rings.
Asia is even worse. A US Lg might be like a 2xl over there. It’s why you have to be careful at times buying clothes online. Double check country of origin/sizing.
American clothes are vanity sized; keeps us buying clothes even when we’re sad about being fat.
They don’t have Samoans in Europe
A lot of Americans are big fat fatties.
Just one of the consequences of fat acceptance in the US
Yep
I’m an XL in the US, XXL or XXXL here in the UK.
Looking at all the downvotes, it seems like people from the US have no sense of humor.
And King Kong size in Southeast Asia.
Absolutely normal, sold in EU to adults, in US to children.
[77% too fat, mentally ill, or stoned to serve in U.S. army – study](https://www.i24news.tv/en/news/international/americas/1680441929-u-s-77-too-fat-mentally-ill-or-stoned-to-serve-in-the-army)
yup.
I remember when I was 14, I was about 5’9” 130 at the time. My aunt got me a t-shirt when she visited Stonehenge and I was super excited because it was a size L
And a EU size S is Asia XL. (Always look at the size tables, when ordering online 😂)
Interestingly you can also find Extra-Small men’s clothes in Ireland and England. They don’t sell XS for men in the states.
This happens even inside the US. I bought some shirts from a place that’s kinda known to make durable comfy clothes for working folks, and ordered large since I’ve got really broad shoulders. Turns out, they size their stuff in “midwest sizing” according to the guy at the store I talked to when I swapped them out for mediums. I’m 6′ tall, 210lb and have broader than average shoulders and the large shirts were like wearing a poncho.
Sounds about right. Nation of Wall-Es.
It can vary for some reason. When I was overseas I lost a lot of weight and needed a new suit. Ended up needing to have it made as no store had a 50” jacket not even the European chains. Being 6’ and 200lbs made me stand out a little even with a 32” waist.
oh really?
Wait til you see the condoms. Lol
what the hell is EU S to M in the US then? baby size?
