Sounds like no man’s sky all over again
More on the technology here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_Fkyj2GYeo
It always worries me when news is scarce, and then what little we get is this tertiary technological stuff like this. I really hope the game will be decent
I hear ubisoft / open world and lose all interest.
Ready to force jump up a million towers?
I know people working on that game. They’ve made sure to keep it completely hushed up for various reasons. I have zero faith in some nobody YouTuber having reliable info. The studio making the game likely isn’t using that tech and is probably just using an upgraded version of Snowdrop (The Division’s engine).
Edit: Do not trust channels that are full of click bait nonsense like fake trailers and such.
>Ubisoft
Yeah nah, OP. Not even hyped in the slightest.
I am FREAKISHLY EXCITED for this game.
As far as I know, Massive is the studio working on it. These are the guys who did The Division series, and the world visuals, ambiance and weather are some of the best I ever seen in any game. They also absolutely nailed the gameplay, it was a very good balance of engaging and entertaining and challenging, without being overbearing.
The story will probably suck, the character faces and lip sync will probably suck too, Massive doesn’t have a good track record in that area. But the world and the ambiance should be top notch, with solid gameplay. And their classic Ubisoft open-world elements were fairly reasonable in The Division. It’s still painfully obviously a Ubisoft open world, but toxicity levels vary by studio, and Massive was bearable.
Another Ubisoft open world game.. yey..
Ubisoft’s game worlds are quite beautiful but so full of side stuff and pointless collectibles. I have no doubt that the Star Wars worlds will look beautiful but I’m worried that the gameplay will be tedious.
Curious. Will every character have a “unique story path” generated to help them on their path to unlock a force-sensitive character slot?
Nope, bet this will be a shit release.
