• lmao, I found this video. It’s such a good throwback to 2007 when TBC came out. The best part starts at 5:07 and around 6:20. Good old 2007 potato quality video.

  I was in a guild on Coilfang called Swarm. I was leveling my first Burning Crusade expansion character, a Draenei priest, and this was a leveling guild. One day someone had the suggestion that we should pvp low level horde areas, try to do Wailing Caverns as Alliance, and our Guild Leader was pretty much only like level 35. We all agreed it’d be hilarious. I volunteered to record the entire thing. We were all on Vent or Teamspeak, can’t remember, I think it was Ventrilo, and I wasn’t able to use my mic while recording the audio to the video which is why I was typing so much.

  We started out ganking in Nightsong Woods, and as we made our way over to the Barrens, we accidently aggro’d some horde NPC with a skull level. At first we ran away but then we realized, we can kind of dps it and heal / tank it properly. We all committed to trying to kill the NPC as if we were doing Illidan or some crazy shit. I can’t remember the name of what NPC it was or what actual level it was lmao, but it was skull for all of us (or at least me, I was level 18).

  As we tried to fight it, different horde pvp players approached us and eventually during the raid, they started actually pvping us and it become a huge mess of us trying to kill this NPC, fighting off horde npc’s.

  Finally once we got to Ratchet and waited for the boat, the horde came and partied with us on the dock.

  This video is an absolute core memory of mine growing up and playing video games, and what I had thought was a lost video to time has resurfaced. Honestly, I haven’t seen this video in about 15 years, and to stumble across it out of the blue, I’m pretty sure this is going to be one of my favorite moments of this year.

  This video was originally uploaded on video.google.com before Google bought YouTube, and eventually it was lost seemingly forever. They shut down video.google.com, never had a chance to recover it, and this video only lived on in my memory.

  I randomly logged into my old YouTube account today and saw that this video was in there, but just private. I immediately downloaded it and I cannot believe it’s exactly as I remember.
