These are total bullshit in War Thunder so I can attest that they are very good planes.
In the European Theater, P-47 pilots destroyed more than 7,000 enemy aircraft, more than half of them in air-to-air combat. They destroyed the remainder on very dangerous ground attack missions.
So a really high percentage of these were grounded planes, not all were air-to-air. What a way to skew the numbers

purpose aside, they are technological marvels that happen to look amazing as well.
