Congratulations! Very low miles. Most of my family (brother, sister, mom, me, and wife) have Toyotas and are fans. With that age, you may (or may not) have some age-related items like belts or hoses to replace. With care, this car should go from Canada to the southern tip of Argentina and back.
My first one in high school was an 85 and it only went like 85 if I could recall and loved it plus back then $10 filled it up
Bunta Fujiwara would be proud
Lol at the floating owners manual
Little known fact- this car had the first wireless phone charger on the dashboard
Corolla might not be a cool car but it gets around. My 03 has over 1/4 million miles and it’s great.
I can actually smell this interior through the photo, Every third surfer I knew had one and we drove them into the ground.
$138,000?! The used car market truly is bananas these days
Haha
We had an ’86. It did double duty as my Dad’s commuter and our family truckster. Solid and reliable as hell, had over 200,000 miles on it until it got totaled parked on the street in front of our house. Hit by a drunk teenager, a sad day indeed. Take care of her and it should last you many years.
Why is the interior of a car that’s 38 years old nicer then a car modern day that’s the same model
Convert it to R134, make sure the piston rings are good, and haul a$$ in it!
