Imagine being in that band in front of that crowd…Extasy!!!
Rocking the kids at Shermer High in Shermer IL….
I’ve always loved how this song opens.
The Breakfast Club!
The Canucks have lit the lamp!
We wont
I didn’t know Dana Carvey was the lead singer in that band!
The drumming on this song is quite good.
It’s easy to forget just how good some of these groups are live.
I was there as a teenager. Hottest and longest day ever but it was fun. Saw a guy next to me take out and eat a tiny little square piece of paper and I was like, “what was that?”
The year before we met my wife had tickets to Live Aid in Philly, but her mother did not let her go. Damned shame.
I read somewhere that this song was originally written for Billy Idol to sing.
I couldn’t imagine the rush of playing in front of a crowd that large. Must have been amazing. Solid jam too!
Still one of the greatest songs ever!
Never gets old classic.
Great great band. New Gold Dream is an incredible, timeless album.
The world has changed so much. Glad I grew up in The 80’s.
DAMN! Forgot these guys were there, too. So many great bands! What an amazing day. My hands hurt for two days from all the clapping.
These guys are fantastic live, check out their live in Edinburgh concert from a few years back on YouTube.
He was awesome in Bridesmaids
Definitely looks like sweater weather
For some reason i always thought this was a bowey song
Check out New Gold Dream. One of their best songs. Won’t be disappointed!
Say what you want about the Vancouver Canucks but they use this as their goal song and it absolutely slaps
Have you tried turning it off and on again?
Oh, but they were so much better before they decided they wanted to be U2. I Travel!
Song still slaps 35 plus years later.
