Yay?
No I will never be thirsty
Yeah and a lot of people are praying the water stops.
I have family in the valley who live near a reservoir lake that had been waaaay below capacity for so long that people built permanent buildings next to it 20-30 years ago that are now *20 feet underwater.*
This lake is still 18ft below full pool so I’d be a little more cautious in dumping water right this minute.
You watch them put back water use restrictions this summer…
Glad to know as an Australian that Californians know our pain so well. Fire, drought, flood, fire, drought, flood.
The solution to droughts caused by global warming is more global warming.
It used to be surviving paycheck to paycheck and now its surviving cataclysm to cataclysm.
Really shouldn’t get ahead of yourself there.
They say 4 years supply, but they had celebrities using over 100-150+ gallons of water a month while over this last summer during the drought. So something tells me unless that is addressed it won’t last nearly that long.
They’ll use all this ‘excess water’ in 3 months to put out the associated raging fires across all of the woods you see here. It’s a give and take situation.
Another drought will come… maybe you should just make some of your water savings plans permanent?

And now many parts are underwater.
La Niña is weakening, heading into El Niño. Australia drying, Southwest US getting wetter.
